Overall it is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed the stay, the location was marvellous in Borrowdale valley. The room is huge and luxurious with fresh decor. Amazing, delicious breakfasts, everyone can find something.

Excellent service, although a few employees were appalling. The breakfast with a substantial amount and a poached egg was amazing, you’ll find what you need.

As for me, the area was dull.

Very traditional and big rooms and a balcony and a lounge included. The hotel was in a secluded location cheap in the lakes. Also, a long lake was 3 km away.

Well, the area was dull overall.

The location was great and close to places we visited. The area was peaceful close enough to an establishment with a reputation to uphold, very picturesque Keswick in the UK's Lake District and the restaurant and bar.  

I liked the place, its hot and hearty breakfast.

The staff team was hard-working, the rooms were well-appointed and beautifully decorated and equipped with a balcony, a lovely view plus all the facilities.

Recently refurbished room and staff is always reasonably good.

It's a modern and romantic hotel. The library bar makes the soft drinks. Offers outstanding service and brilliant food. Besides, parking is onsite.
